Motor-maker’s move will enhance customer service

08 June, 2015

Lafert Electric Motors has moved to new UK premises in Crewe, bringing together its product and support services under one roof. The site consists of a 465m2 warehouse and workshop area, and 65m2 of office accommodation.

The increased storage capacity will extend the company’s off-the-shelf sales capability and increase its facilities for holding customers’ motors, ready for delivery when needed. This is attractive for users with limited storage capacity who need prompt motor availability.

The workshop will carry out customer-specific motor modifications and offer a fault-finding service and development support.

With a direct fibre optic broadband connection to Lafert offices across Europe, group-wide technical expertise will be on tap to ensure a rapid response with appropriate product and technical backup.

Responding to customer demand: Lafert’s new premises in Crewe

“Lafert has rationalised its operations here in the UK and across Europe to maximise our ability to respond effectively to customers’ demands,” says motor specialist, Nigel Evenett. “Our new premises in Crewe reflects this objective.”
