Rockwell names Zecharies as its new Emea president

Rockwell Automation has appointed Gustavo Zecharies as president of its Emea (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region with immediate effect, succeeding Susana Gonzalez, who is leaving Rockwell “to pursue other opportunities” after almost six years in the role.
Zecharies was previously Rockwell’s vice-president for the Latin America region and earlier in his 18-year career with the company held various roles in its Canadian operation. He also worked at Omron for a short period, and before that was a technical director leading software developers in the manufacturing industry.
In his new role, Zecharies will lead and provide strategic direction for sales, services, and solutions in the Emea region, with a focus on growing the OEM segment, which accounts for a significant portion of Rockwell’s business in the region. He has been tasked with driving revenue growth, improving sales force effectiveness, and developing people in the organisation.
Zecharies, who will be based in Spain, will report to Rockwell senior vice-president and chief revenue officer, Scott Genereux.
“Gustavo has had a long and successful career at Rockwell running Canada sales, holding roles in sales operations and market access, and most recently leading outstanding performance in Latin America sales,” says Genereux. “He has a great track record of success and knows our customers well. I look forward to working with him in this new role.”
