Nidec Drives is ‘first’ to offer a 5-year warranty for all products

Nidec Drives claims that it the first variable-speed drives manufacturer to offer a five-year warranty as standard across all of its drives, including high-performance and high-power ranges. It is now offering a five-year warranty as standard on all Control Techniques global drives, option modules and keypad products.
The company first offered an extended five-year warranty for its Commander C general-purpose drives in 2019, and more recently added its specialised Pump Drive F600 and HVAC Drive H300 ranges, as well as its Commander S100 micro AC drive. A full list of products covered by the five-year warranty is available on Nidec Drives’ Web site.
“We are proud to be the first global drive supplier to offer a five-year warranty as standard,” says Nidec Drives’ global marketing manager, Sue Clark. “This reflects the confidence we have in the quality of our products, built on the back of major investments in our design and manufacturing facilities worldwide.

Nidec argues that it is now unnecessary for drives buyers to pay for extended warranties when it is offering five-year coverage as standard, without any need for registration or extra fees.
The company adds that its global network of manufacturing sites allows it to produce any product at any location, offering flexibility and peace of mind in the event of supply chain disruptions. Every product, no matter where it’s made, meets the same standards of precision, durability, and performance.
Nidec also offers local support through its global network of Drive Centres where teams of sales and application engineers help customers to solve technical and operational challenges.
