Turkish switchgear maker sets up shop in the UK

20 November, 2015

The Turkish switchgear manufacturer, Emas, has set up a UK subsidiary in Stafford, to support its growing UK customer base. The company has invested in stock to support the UK control panel and machine building sectors, and has taken on three staff with more than 30 years of experience, led by managing director, Nelson Finan. The company is setting up a UK distributor network.

Emas, founded in 1969, manufactures items including control buttons and switches, signal lamps, motor protection breakers, industrial relays and sockets, analogue and digital time relays, and panel meters.

Finan joins Emas from Finder Relays where he worked for more than ten years, most recently at Finder’s headquarters in Italy as export manager for the Asian, Middle East and northern Europe markets.

Finan: will exceed users' expectations

“We are proud to bring this world-class brand and products to the UK,” he says. “With our large customer base across Europe, Russia and Turkey, we already know the quality and price levels will exceed our UK users expectations and we are pleased with the growing support already shown in the UK.”
