Servomotors match 12mm-wide drives

19 April, 2011

Beckhoff Automation has unveiled a range of synchronous servomotors designed to be used with its recently announced 12mm-wide EL7201 servo drive. The AM3100 pole-wound servomotors are currently available in three models with rated outputs of 50W (24V DC), 90W and 130W (48V DC).

The motors (above) are equipped with a resolver as standard. Options include holding brakes, planetary gears and ready-made cabling.

The EL7201 servodrives are designed as terminals for the EtherCat I/O system and can be connected directly to servomotors up to 200W. They provide field-oriented current and PI speed control and support dynamic positioning tasks.
