Soft-starter pioneer ramps up its capacity

29 March, 2011

The soft-starter specialist Fairford Electronics has boosted its production capacity by moving to new facilities (below) in Plymouth, 20km away from its previous premises in Kingsbridge, Devon. The move will expand the services that Fairford offers, including training and development at a new “Soft Starter Academy”.

Fairford’s sales and marketing director, Stephen Royle says the company has experienced strong growth in recent years. This has been so promising that “we have had to significantly increase our capacity and resources, particularly in terms of our sales support and our research and development facilities. Our larger premises will give us greater production capacity and the ability to expand our skilled product development team.”

All of Fairford’s staff are staying with the company.
