Yaskawa sets up shop in Milton Keynes
Published:  22 January, 2010

Yaskawa Electric has set up a sales office in Milton Keynes to strengthen its activities in the UK and Irish markets, following the ending of its joint venture with Omron. A seven-strong team will support local OEMs and other users, providing a technical advisory service.

Yaskawa is also establishing a network of distribution partners to handle its products in the UK. There will probably be four (including Crompton Controls) for its drives products, and two more for its motion portfolio.

The Milton Keynes team will work with customers to take industrial projects from planning and scheduling, to implementing and commissioning.
