Humanoid raises $152m, valuing the two-year-old UK business at $1.35bn

Humanoid, the UK-based AI and robotics company that is developing industrial humanoid robots, has raised $152m in Series A financing, valuing the company at $1.35bn. The funding – led by led by Prime Movers Lab, and including contributions from Schaeffler and Bosch – brings the total amount raised since Humanoid’s founding two years ago to $270m. It is the largest ever Series A funding for humanoid robotics company in Europe, positioning it as the leading humanoid-first robotics business in the UK and continental Europe
Humanoid will use the new capital to fund its next phase of growth, strengthen its leadership, and accelerate its commercial deployments and business expansion. The company says it will focus on:
- developing and launching its next-generation humanoid robotics platform;
- long-term commercial deployments at customer sites in logistics, manufacturing, retail and other sectors, starting with the rollout of beta-version robots in the fourth quarter of 2026;
- starting mass-production of its wheel-based humanoid robots;
- developing AI and software, including its proprietary AI brain, KinetIQ, as it moves towards a general-purpose robot for industrial applications.
“In just two years, we’ve gone from an idea to becoming Europe’s first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn, partnered with some of the world’s leading industrial companies, and built one of the strongest pipelines in the industry,” says Humanoid’s founder and CEO, Artem Sokolov. “What we’ve accomplished in such a short time would typically take a decade. None of this would have been possible without an extraordinary team that challenges every single day what people believe is possible. This funding gives us the resources to move even faster and to turn humanoid robots from breakthrough technology into everyday industrial tools.”
Humanoid has become one of the fastest-growing companies in the sector and has secured partnerships with Fortune 500 companies including SAP, Nvidia, Bosch and Siemens. It recently signed the industry’s largest publicly announced commercial agreement, with Schaeffler, for the large-scale deployment of thousands of humanoid robots in manufacturing environments.
Until now, much of the momentum around physical AI has been in China and the US. Humanoid says that the new investment demonstrates that the UK and Europe can produce and scale globally competitive humanoid robotics companies.
It adds that the valuation reflects both its speed of execution and growing market confidence that humanoid robots are becoming commercially viable. What was once considered a long-term research experiment is now a deployable industrial technology, says Humanoid. With its wheeled robots, the company aims to address global labour shortages in manufacturing, logistics and other critical sectors.

Humanoid AI will be one of a small cadre of robotics companies that will define humanoid robotics in Europe and beyond.”

Bosch will act as Humanoid’s contract manufacturing partner, while also providing strategic consulting and technical expertise in hardware design, production, and supply chain.”
Humanoid brings together more than 250 engineers, researchers, and innovators, located at offices in London, Boston, Vancouver and San Diego. The company’s vertically integrated approach combines proprietary robotics hardware with its AI brain, KinetIQ, which allows robots to understand, reason and execute complex physical tasks in real industrial environments.
With its new financing, Humanoid says it is aiming to accelerate the transition towards a future where intelligent robots work safely alongside people across the world’s industrial economy.
