Fluke adds asset management specialist to its portfolio

The test tool giant Fluke has acquired US-based eMaint Enterprises, which specialises in computerised maintenance management software (CMMS). The terms of the deal have not been released.

eMaint’s software platform helps organisations to manage, monitor and control their maintenance operations, resources, equipment and compliance. It is used by more than 50,000 maintenance personnel in 55 countries, in markets including food processing, healthcare and manufacturing. The company’s Web-based, Software as a Service (SaaS) tools can be accessed via PCs, smartphones, tablets, and other browser-based devices.

eMaint employs more than 80 people at two locations in the US (Florida and New Jersey) and one in Ireland (Dublin).

Fluke says that combining its own tools, software and data expertise, with eMaint’s SaaS offering, represents “a critical convergence of maintenance solutions” to ensure uptime and maximise return-on-assets.
