Balluff moves to new UK HQ

23 January, 2008

The sensor manufacturer Balluff has moved its UK headquarters to a new site at the Cheadle Royal Business Park, near Manchester Airport. The new building (shown below) includes offices, a distribution centre, and training facilities, and will allow for further growth and development by the company and its staff.

"This new building shows the investment Balluff world-wide is making within the UK," says managing director, John Radford. "The office itself provides us with a wonderful opportunity for expansion in the coming years. For us to be located in this modern, vibrant building, along with its distribution facility, will allow us to deliver both our products and services more efficiently to our manufacturing partners throughout UK and Ireland.

"Here at Balluff we have always been proud of our highly trained and experienced staff," he adds. "The majority of our staff live within the area, it was therefore important that this was where our new UK Headquarters should remain."

This German-owned company has been operating in the UK since 1979, supplying manufacturing customers with sensors, switches, industrial RFID products, and connectors.
